Well, I'm not really a girly girl, despite what my picture suggests. However, I do enjoy getting dressed up. During the winter I tend to stay inside to stay warm, like most people, but during the summer I'm always outside. I love hiking during the day, and at night I lay in the grass staring at the stars. I'm more likely to walk barefoot down a gravel road than I am to walk with shoes on down a paved road. I love writing and reading poetry. I love reading in general. I don't watch many movies.....I don't usually give myself time for them. I love all animals. My cat, a mutt, means more to me than anyone and I wouldn't give him up for the world. My dad's cat lives with me. I'm currently living with my grandma until I can find a place of my own.
I am pregnant. I'm as excited as anyone who wasn't planning on having children for a while can be. Don't ask questions about the dad. I have noting nice to say about him and would rather not have to talk about him. And don't message me saying "hit me up," "holla" or "wut up?". If you can't spell the word, you don't need to type messages. And obviously need to go back to school. And it's not that hard to say, "Please write back." And "holla"??? No.

I'm the type of girl who, like most girls, has her own fairy tale. I found someone that I honestly believed I was going to have my "happily ever after" with someone I really cared about. In my mind, he was my Prince Charming. And it wasn't unrealistic. I didn't imagine him saving me from a terrible dragon or a wicked witch. I just imagined him saving me from myself. In the end, it didn't work out. Not because he wasn't the right guy for me, but because after a couple years of not being together and me being rather irresponisble, I'm expecting a kid. And although I would love to be with him, I couldn't ask him to love a kid that's not his. Let alone, to step into the role of Fatherhood when I'm sure that's the last thing on his mind right now. He's still my best friend.

As for the father of the baby, he knew almost a month before he kicked me out that I'm pregnant. We never talked about it since you can't really talk to someone about something they obviously don't want to accept as reality. And, in my mind, he made his decision about it when he kicked me out without so much as mentioning the baby and without hesitation.

As for religion, I'm not religious. I don't believe in God or Heaven or Hell. I don't believe in Buddah. I believe in science. If it can be proven, then I believe it. If you're going to try to make me believe in God or whatever, don't bother messaging me. And don't say my baby needs Jesus because that's not your decision to make. That's his/her decision. I'm not gonna force anything into his/her mind.

Right now I'm a Junior at Truman State University. Just recently dropped my Business major and switched over to an English major. I realized that I was not going to be happy in the business world. I'm not very good about describing myself on things like this so if you want to know more just ask!

I'm a midwest college student, getting by with what I have. I was once told that you're born with a bag full of luck and an empty bag for experience. You just have to hope that your experience bag fills before you run out of luck. As near as I can tell, I'm well on my way to being okay.

Of course, other perspectives would say that until I'm out of school and forging a new path, embracing the american pioneer spirit, I'm not REALLY that close to being okay. I suppose there might be some truth to that, but I'll tend to trust myself over someone else any day.

I move a lot. I love to travel but haven't left the US for anything besides Canada. I'm a pretty funny person. I don't take things too serious unless they need to be. I'm totally obessesed with music. It takes up alot of my thoughts, time, and conversations. This may be do to the fact that I sing and play guitar in a band and also help book shows and promote other bands in the area.

I grew up on a farm in Iowa (corn, soybeans, and livestock, if you must know), but I would not consider myself a "farm girl." I'd rather live in town, preferably on the edge of town. I enjoy gardening, hiking, camping, bonfires, and boating.

I live in the middle of fucking nowhere, Missouri. I hate it, but am trying to make the best of it for the time being. As soon as I finish school I am out of here! I have a rockin' lil family that consists of my daughter and pitador, Chaos aka Cacabeans (kiddos version). I'm a jack of all trades and pretty much a huge nerd. I like to read, sew, paint, explore, and hunt for vintage goodies. I used to be really into the bar scene and seeing shows, but now a) I'm not a p.o.s. deadbeat parent who ditches their kiddo in order to get shitfaced everynight, and b) there are rarely any good shows around here. I reserve getting my show & social fix when I visit "home".

Well, Iâ??m a second year medical student at KCOM and that tends to devour my life. When I have time off I love to spend time in the mountains. A close friend of mine once told me that skiing was the closest thing heâ??d ever had to a religious experience and I completely dig that. I also love to go hiking, canoeing, and rock-climbing, but during my typical week I usually only have time to go swimming. Iâ??ve been involved in vocal music and theater almost my entire life, performing in operas, operettas, musical theater, dinner theater, theater theater, choirs, and currently am in an a capella group. Iâ??ve also played a ton of instruments in the past but I can only really say that I play piano and pipe organ with any level of skill. I can knit some basic things and Iâ??m picking up painting albeit extremely slowlyâ?¦ but I did win a rather large prize for a piece I did on MSPaint about a year ago. Oh, and I'm really good at making balloon animals. Iâ??m a huge foodie and beer snob and Iâ??m constantly cooking new recipes and scheming about the next beer that Iâ??m going to brew. I also love to travel and I spent 10 weeks in Bolivia volunteering in a health clinic where I hope to return one day.

If you can dream it, you can do it! I believe that, but sometimes it's still hard to live it.

I'm on my way up to Truman State University this fall, majoring in English and Foreign Languages. I'm a writer and a 3-time NaNoWriMo winner, and my Big Dream is to be a successful novelist. I love music (all kinds! I'll give anything a chance (Unless it sucks balls)), even though I can't play any instruments--I was raised on ABBA, Enya, The Beatles, and Nana Mouskouri. This explains my inordinate fondness for catchy, upbeat, tuneful foreign music: Namely, jpop. God. Can't get enough of it. If I could have a lot of hot sex with it, I so would. Mmm, NEWS. And Super Junior, who are actually Korean. I love you guys.

I love learning about different cultures and religions; however, heavy debate makes me irritable and ruffled, especially if the other person is getting too heated about the issue. I really don't care that much. Really. Your opinion matters, but I'm not going to argue about it because at the end of the day I don't give a flying fuck. Which brings us to my next point:

I must be considered "a study in contradictions", otherwise I confuse myself. I'm a pacifist except when I'm irritated (see above); I like things when I like them and I don't when I don't; I'm indecisive and at the same time, obstinate about my choices. I can lead and I can follow; I'm submissive and agreeable except when I'm really not. If I like you, I'll do my best to entertain and amuse you; if I don't like you or don't care, I won't put too much effort into it (one consistency is that if I think of something witty, I will fling it at whomever is convenient, whether I like them or not. If you don't get my little isms, then you aren't worth talking to and I will drop you like the fucking sandbag you are, you dull twit.)

If there is one thing I cannot stand, it is suffering through stupidity with a smile. I don't like it. Give me a chance to be hateful at you, I will seize it with both hands, and we will walk away with that refreshing feeling of having been suddenly dunked in boiling water. Also, I cannot stand being called "babe". I loathe it. LOATHE.

Any supposed arrogancy you see present is probably true, but at least I have the goods to back it up. I'm competent (Except when I'm not. Don't trust me alone with scissors.)

Well, im a motivated young man who is working my way through college so i can get a good job that i love and support a family. I have dreams of traveling around the world which i will do if the chance arrives. I can be very romantic and tend to have a softer side, but i can also be totally bad ass when the time calls for it. I'm a college student at Truman University. I'm dual majoring in physics and math now. After reviewing the requirements for being a math major, I found that I'd be a little over halfway done by just being a physics major.

A consideration that has frequently entered my mind lately is the idea of self-identification and the projection of the perceived self through making introductions. Essentially, I have been wondering more and more about how the way we introduce ourselves is influenced by what we view as most important about people, and how these introductions in turn contribute to the way in which we are treated and subsequently behave. This question is simultaneously thrilling and daunting for me as a result of that; but then again, I have occasionally been accused of making a mountain out of a molehill.

Foremost, I should express that I identify as a queer individual, not strictly as a lesbian. I am open to relationships with people regardless of what sex organs they have, don't have, or wish they had. I am a non-op, transgender (currently) not receiving hormone therapy. Currently I am in the awkward in between space of attempting to mesh my own understanding of "self" with my personal desires. For me currently, the idea that I am transgender simply means that while I have the body of a female, my gender identity does not align with the feminine. I still allow female pronouns to be used when referring to me, though I would much prefer gender-neutral (ze, zir, zirs).

I am a very curious individual who loves exploring so-called "alternative" lifestyles and ways of thinking. I have in the past been a vegetarian, and hope to one day return to this lifestyle. Currently, I make every effort towards awareness of the origin of the foods that I eat, and would prefer a meatless entree over a the best cut of steak any day. After a long stint of rejecting organized religion altogether, I am once again seeking out my spiritual nature through exploration of various systems of belief. In the process I have created a blend of ideas that work best for me by taking bits and pieces from various schools of thought. To me religion is a way of finding comfort in the unknown and explaining the inexplicable, so it only makes sense to believe in that which makes me most comfortable.

Were I to have any talent in the world, I would desperately want the ability to be more creative. There are worlds and thoughts beyond comprehension living in the recesses of my mind, but that often seems to be the problem. They're so far stuck within and so deeply personal that I have yet to find an adequate way to release them. I dabble into various creative pursuits though, from journaling to writing to altered bookmaking, but my personal favorite will always be photography. I am the proud owner of both a Canon AE-1 and a Nikon D40, and can often be seen lugging one or the other around to nearly every place I go.

Finally, in terms of emotional characteristics, I am on a journey towards honesty and transparency. I seek to live my life in the most open and genuine ways I possibly can, rejecting all notions that hiding or eluding the truth is the best way in which to behave. Though I still find myself tripping up (fear of pain from being inadequate), it is a process which I am very serious about. Secrets have lived within me for too long, weighing me down and never allowing me to get close to others. I won't let that continue anymore.

I am a gamer but not terribly hardcore about it. It's pretty rare that I'll spend $50 on a new game when there are plenty of good games I can buy used for $15. Genre isn't important as long as the game has a good story. (This means you're unlikely to find me screaming at my opponents on the Internet because those sort of games rarely have more than a token amount of storyline.) It makes me sad that I no longer play Dungeons & Dragons or Vampire but I have no regrets regarding having given up Magic: The Gathering. I've also come to realize that I don't even enjoy poker when I'm winning. I do like to play Truth or Dare, as long as there are sufficient stakes being wagered.

I've never seen the ocean. I've been to California twice but both times were bad experiences. The closest I've been to the east coast is Wisconsin. (I once told someone that and they responded that "Wisconsin is north, not east." In retrospect, I should have stabbed them in the throat.)

I'm an intellectual elitist but with a twist. I much prefer people who aren't very intelligent but are always striving to learn than someone who easily understands complex issues but sees to point in continuously furthering their education. (I qualified for Mensa but haven't actually joined. Bonus points for intelligence without he point loss for pretentiousness!)
